Newly released footage from a Las Vegas daycare shows the moment a teacher picks up a girl and violently shakes her.
Footage from DJ’s Christian Preschool/Daycare shows Lilly Royal, 3, being forcefully picked up and tossed around by an unknown teacher on April 19.
Kayla Zomerdyk and Nashawn Royal, the young girl’s parents, were notified of the incident after it was reported to the Henderson Police Department by another teacher the same day.
Zomerdyk later said, “It’s clear you don’t want to see my child being snatched away like a little rag doll.” It will definitely upset you.
“They had an opportunity to be fair and honest. Be responsible for everything that happened that day and before, so they missed that opportunity,” Royal added.

After the video went viral, the daycare center said 8NewsNow that the teacher has been fired.
But that is not enough for the distressed parents.
“So firing the teacher to me is not justice because they never fired the teacher until the video went viral.
“To me, it is justice that DJ’s Christian Center is completely closed,” the upset mother said.
The school has also denied any claims of child abuse and, when asked why the incident occurred, said: “We are all human,” the channel reported.
