Tiger Woods FINALLY reveals the three stars joining his TGL team next year – after the launch of his tech golf league was delayed after Florida storms damaged new $50m arena

With the TGL kicking off in January, Tiger Woods has revealed who will join him in the four-man squad for Jupiter Links Golf Club.

TGL, presented by SoFi, is a new golf league featuring six teams of PGA Tour stars and was formed by Woods and Rory McIlroy’s new company, TMRW Sports. In addition to the team format, the competition will integrate advanced simulator technology into the competition.

After months of anticipation, Woods announced that Max Homa, Tom Kim and Kevin Kisner would join him at Jupiter Links GC.

“I have already shared my excitement and optimism about TGL as a league and product,” Woods said in a press release.

“Now that we have completed our roster with a team of world-class golfers, I am even more confident that this group will proudly represent the Jupiter region and connect with our fans for years to come.”

Homa is the number 9 golfer in the official World Gold Rankings. In addition to six victories on the PGA Tour, Homa represented the United States in team golf three times at the 2023 Ryder Cup, the 2022 Presidents Cup and the 2013 Walker Cup, becoming the club’s top-ranked player.

Kim is ranked #23 in the OWGR and is a rising star in the sport. Kim has seven international victories to his name, in addition to three PGA Tour victories.

At 20 years, one month and 17 days, Kim became the second-youngest player to win on a PGA Tour since World War II when he emerged victorious at the 2022 Wyndham Championship. He trails only Jordan Spieth, who holds the record established during the 2013 John Deere Classic.

Finally, Kisner brings his experience as a four-time PGA Tour champion and two-time U.S. representative to the Presidents Cup.

“Following Tiger’s career is one of the main reasons I became an avid golfer,” Homa said. “I remember seeing him win the 1997 Masters, and to be able to play next to him was amazing.”

“It’s really exciting to call Tiger, Tom and Kevin teammates. TGL allows me to play with some of the best golfers in the world and bring this unique and exciting format to golf, while also finding ways to connect with one of the nation’s top golf markets in South Florida.”

After announcing an August 2022 launch, TGL’s January 2024 launch was postponed due to a storm in Florida that damaged their $50 million factory in Palm Beach Gardens in November.

“At this time, as we assess the damage, it is too early to determine the impact on our timelines,” TGL said at the time.

Months later, the league is back on track and will launch on January 7, 2025 on ESPN and ESPN+.

“I’m so excited to play with this group of guys in the TGL format. Obviously I grew up inspired by Tiger Woods, but Max and Kevin are two of my favorite guys on Tour,” Kim said.

“Both are really good guys, but both also have a similar competitive fire. “It will be incredible to play with these guys as teammates. Discussing strategy with Tiger in a real competition is something I never dreamed of doing.’
