Mother reveals shocking moment she went into labor in her CAR at 36-weeks pregnant – just hours after doctors told her she WASN’T ready to give birth: ‘I looked in my pants and saw her hair’

A mother-of-two has described the shocking story of how she gave birth to her second daughter in the car after thinking she was pooping when she actually pushed her baby out.

Chelsea, who did not reveal her last name, got candid with listeners as she continued to speak The real stuff podcast together with presenter Lucie Fink.

In a video shared on YouTube, the New York-based mom describes the wild moment she looked down her pants and saw her newborn’s “hair” while sitting in her car while her husband, Justin, went to the hospital drove.

She revealed that she had no idea she was in labor until the baby slipped out, adding that she was just struggling to sit down but didn’t think much about it at the time.

Chelsea, who already had one daughter at the time, was 36 weeks pregnant when she went to the doctor and learned her baby wasn’t ready to be welcomed into the world.

Later that day, after waking up from a nap, she started feeling terrible pain in her legs and couldn’t sit down.

Chelsea thought she was being ‘dramatic’ at first and tried to sit down again.

After trying again, she realized she was having contractions and immediately called her doctor, who told her to stay home and time her contractions.

Chelsea’s doctor said if she had contractions lasting five minutes for at least an hour, she should come to the hospital.

However, Chelsea’s pain soon became worse and she could no longer tolerate it, so she told her husband they had to go to the hospital right away.

Since they didn’t have time to wait for her husband’s family to come care for their other daughter, they strapped her into the car seat and took her away too.

When Chelsea was in the car, she held herself up with her arms, one hand desperately holding on to the parking brake because she was in so much pain while sitting.

Thinking she had pooped, Chelsea looked down her sweatpants and saw her baby's hair and grabbed her baby as she slipped out.

“The baby’s coming, the baby’s coming,” Chelsea shouted as her husband tried to drive quickly but safely to the hospital.

She said: ‘Suddenly I really, really needed to go to the toilet, so I thought, “Justin, I really need to go to the toilet, take us to the hospital.” He says, “You know, if you gotta go, go, I guess, I don’t know what to tell you, like we’re not going to be there.”

Chelsea added, “I had only been in labor for 15 to 20 minutes, so I really didn’t think…I thought I really had to poop.”

The mother of two started pushing as if she were going to the toilet and soon after felt relief.

As they got closer to the hospital, Chelsea started to wonder how bad the damage was and put her hand down the back of her pants to feel how much she had excreted.

However, she didn’t feel what she expected and instead felt something firmer.

She explained: ‘At that moment, luckily I’m wearing big sweatpants, so I open the front and look to see what’s in my pants and it was my daughter’s head – I didn’t know it was a girl at the time.

‘I wasn’t positive it was the head because it was like her hair, i could tell it wasn’t poop and it wasn’t a whole baby so i reached in to feel it a little and it’s her hair.

‘At that point she wasn’t all the way out, but when I touched her head she slipped out a little and I held her up.

“I thought, ‘Look, it’s the baby.'”

Justin and Chelsea were both stunned when the seats of their car were covered in blood, but luckily they just arrived at the hospital.

As soon as they arrived, a Good Samaritan gave Chelsea a wheelchair and pushed her to the delivery room.

The doctors cut the umbilical cord and told Chelsea that she had given birth to a happy and healthy baby girl, who she named Olivia and weighed seven pounds.

The medics then stitched her up and billed her for “labor and delivery services,” despite not delivering the baby to the hospital.

At the end of the video, Chelsea noted that she “doesn’t have a great pain tolerance,” before claiming that if “she can do it, anyone can.”
