Caroline Flack’s best-friend Natalie Pinkham reveals she ran the London Marathon in tribute to late star: ‘She would think we were all mad’

Natalie Pinkham honored her late best friend Caroline Flack on Sunday when she ran the London Marathon.

The Sky Sports F1 presenter, 46, joined a list of celebrities who took on the 42-mile challenge for the charity Samaritans.

The TV presenter admitted she missed Caroline – who tragically took her own life at her London home on February 15, 2020, aged 40 – and still ‘feels’ her.

Before starting the grueling long-distance run, Natalie discussed what her friend might have thought of her that day.

‘Hopefully she is proud of what we are all doing to keep her legacy alive. She would probably laugh a little and think we were all mad,” she said The mirror.

‘But it’s important to keep talking about her and keep her memory alive. Do I feel her around me? Yes. I think so.’

She spoke candidly about the mantra of Caroline’s friends: ‘We (Caroline’s friends) have this mantra when we wonder what to do. We say, ‘What would Flacky do?’

‘And I like to do the same. We all hope and believe that Caroline’s spirit will be at the center of everything we do.”

The TV personality joined the likes of Lawrence Robb, Union J singer Josh Cuthbert and Made In Chelsea sensation Josh Patterson in putting themselves forward for the Samaritans on Sunday.

Natalie was one of the organizers of the iconic annual Flackstock Festival, which was created in memory of their late friend.

Caroline’s devastated family and friends created the intimate festival to celebrate her life and raise vital funds for four mental health charities close to the presenter’s heart.

In addition to Natalie, the festival is organized by a committee made up of Caroline’s loved ones, including her mother Christine and sister Jody, and her friends Dawn O’Porter, Anna Blue, Sarah Tyekiff, Liz Holmwood and Leigh and Jill Francis.

Earlier this month it was announced that Olly Murs was headlining this year’s Flackstock Festival.
