Atalanta vs Liverpool (agg 3-0) – Europa League: Live score, team news and latest updates for Atalanta vs Liverpool and West Ham vs Bayer Leverkusen as Jurgen Klopp’s men need to produce another European miracle to overturn 3-0 deficit

It’s plain and simple: the Reds have a huge task ahead of them tonight.

When the Reds took to the Anfield pitch last week to take on a sixth-placed side in Serie A, no-one could have foreseen the events that transpired.

Liverpool had not lost at home for fourteen months, but that quickly changed. Not only were they defeated by Atalanta, they were also battered without being able to throw any counter punch.

Fast forward three days and the Anfield crowd were stunned again as Crystal’s Eberechi Eze dealt a huge blow to their title hopes, inflicting a second defeat on the Reds in a week.

Tonight is Liverpool’s chance to bounce back. Even if they don’t qualify tonight, a win would do them immense good for their domestic challenge.

The odds are certainly not in their favor, Atalanta showed their quality last week and it wouldn’t be a surprise if they caused Liverpool more pain again.

But if anyone can turn this tie around, it can be Liverpool.
