Brooklyn Nets star Mikal Bridges continues his streak of most consecutive games in the NBA.

Bridges hasn’t missed a game in six seasons and has extended his streak of games played to 472.

Currently, that is the longest active streak among NBA players and Bridges has done this with multiple teams.

Bridges was drafted tenth overall to the Philadelphia 76ers and was then immediately traded to the Phoenix Suns.

He has played in every game since, including when he was traded to the Brooklyn Nets as part of the Kevin Durant trade.

Although that is an impressive number, it is still a long way from the current record holder AC Green

While Bridges’ 472-game tally is remarkable – and currently the best in the league – he is still far from the record.

That is in the hands of three-time NBA champion and former Los Angeles Lakers, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat star AC Green.

Green’s record still stands at an impressive 1,192 games – the equivalent of 14.54 seasons in the NBA.

For Bridges to break Green’s record (not counting playoff games), he would have to play eight full seasons in the NBA plus an additional 65 games.

By then he would have been 36 years old and would have played fifteen NBA seasons.
