Jess Glynne has said her high-profile relationship with Alex Scott has attracted nothing but “super positive” attention.
The singer, 34, who went official with the football presenter, 39, on Instagram at Christmas, has said in a new interview that she ‘didn’t know what to expect’ when they got together.
Having always kept previous relationships ‘very private’, she happily revealed that the couple have ‘received no negativity at all’.
She said The times: ‘For me it’s a different kind of attention, but so far all that attention has been super positive.
‘I’ve never made my personal life public before, so I had no idea what to expect. Probably because I wasn’t in a relationship with a celebrity, I had always managed to keep that side of me very private.

‘The interest was inevitable for us, but you know, there is no negative, because we have had no negativity at all.
“We both give so much into what we do that coming home to your friends, your family, your partner, that’s the ‘you’ time. I never want to shortchange that.’
It comes after Jess opened up about her relationship with girlfriend Alex for the first time last Monday.
She affectionately said she is in a “happy relationship.”
The Take Me Home artist said their romance is going ‘really well’ and she feels ‘very comfortable’ with the ex-Arsenal player.
I talk to Fearne Cotton about her Happy Place podcast, Jess said: “The work I’ve been doing on myself has really calmed me down and allowed me to be in a relationship where I feel really comfortable and just being myself. I am unapologetically myself.
‘It has ensured that I can be very happy in a new relationship. I think love is a very scary subject and I normally remain quite distant.
“But it’s nice to be able to hug someone and have a relationship that really feels good.”

She told The Times: “It’s a different kind of attention for me, but so far all that attention has been super positive.”
However, Jess said it’s still difficult to be in a relationship in the public eye and she likes to try to keep her “personal life to herself.”
She continued, “It’s something I’m starting to get used to. I like to keep my personal life to myself somehow. It’s so important.
“Even though we’re both in this public space, what we have is ours. I feel like this is something I will always do.
“People want so much from you and the great thing is that we both feel the same way and we will continue to keep that to ourselves.”
Her words came after the couple put on a loving show at a Brit Awards after-party in early March.
The pair attended the Universal Music bash at 180 The Strand after avoiding each other on the red carpet earlier in the evening.
As they posed for photos, singer Jess lovingly hugged The Football Focus presenter as they shared a sweet moment.
They later left the party hand in hand after enjoying the big night out together in London.
It came after the pair enjoyed the sun in Mexico in January.
Days before heading off on holiday, following the BBC SPOTY Awards, the two went social media official for the first time – despite being linked since October 2023.
At the awards ceremony, the two were decked out in their glamorous attire as they smiled for a group photo.
Alex was getting ready with her glam squad when the singer took a selfie of the two of them.
But the couple opted not to pose for red carpet snaps together at the star-studded sporting event, held at MediaCityUK in Salford.
Alex and Jess were first pictured sharing a passionate kiss in November.
But it was first reported that Alex and Jess were in a secret relationship in the summer of 2023.
