Marcus Rashford is ‘set to STAY at Man United’ with PSG showing no interest in the move due to his ‘struggles on and off the pitch’ as it is believed transfer talk was ‘used to improve the terms of his contract’

Marcus Rashford will reportedly stay at Manchester United this summer despite previous links with PSG.

The England international has struggled this season as part of Man United’s attack and it was thought he could leave Old Trafford in the summer.

With the Red Devils missing out on Champions League football ahead of next season, several first-team stars could be on the move.

However, according to The sunRashford isn’t going anywhere.

They report that he will stay at Man United as PSG have made it clear there is no chance of a move to Paris.

The report states that PSG are not interested in signing Rashford despite recent links with the forward.

Sources revealed that PSG believes the speech was only used to improve the terms of its contract offer.

A source said: ‘PSG have never been interested in signing Marcus.

‘And given his problems on and off the pitch this season, they haven’t taken it into account at all. He will not move to PSG.

‘He could benefit from the noise surrounding a possible transfer so he can focus on reviving his United career.’

After struggling in front of goal this season, Rashford’s former teammate and Man United legend Wayne Rooney has cast doubt on his future at the club.

‘He has had a very difficult season. We all know he has the ability and all the attributes to become a top world-class player,” Rooney told Premier League Productions.

‘That’s the frustrating thing. Last season he scored a lot of goals. But he has not yet started this season. He doesn’t look happy when he plays.

‘You wonder: is his best option to leave the club and make a fresh start? But he’s a Manchester boy.

‘I would like to see him get his career back on track at the club, score goals and help the club win trophies. But he has certainly had a difficult season.’
