Olivia Dunne works out on the uneven bars and dazzles on the beam as LSU star continues her preparations for next week’s NCAA Gymnastics Championships in Texas
Olivia Dunne shared footage of her hard work at LSU practice on Friday as the Tigers continue to prepare for the NCAA Gymnastics Championships.
Dunne and her teammates are one of eight schools participating in next week’s event in Fort Worth, Texas.
No. 2 LSU will compete against California, Arkansas and Stanford in session one of the semifinals on April 18. The best two teams will advance to the final on April 20.
And Dunne hopes she can influence LSU’s results after training on the beam and uneven bars on Friday.
She posted two videos, one of herself on both devices, to her Instagram Story with the caption: “getting natty’s ready.”

Last week, Dunne enjoyed one of her best gymnastics nights at LSU, scoring a 9.90 despite being called up to anchor the LSU Tigers on short notice in floor exercise.
In a competition against BYU, Oregon State and No. 15 Minnesota, Dunne came on for Kiya Johnson in the final minute to anchor a remarkable team performance.
Her workout on Friday seemed to be going a lot smoother than another one earlier in the week, when she suffered a nasty fall while attempting awkward move on camera.
The 21-year-old student shared a contrasting video of herself doing a backflip on the bars during an SEC gymnastics competition before several images showed her tumbling during Tiger’s workout.
“Bars:1 Livvy:0,” she captioned her post.
Dunne joked that she was scared by a fan’s overzealous reaction to her latest Instagram selfies

A day earlier on Wednesday, Livvy also admitted she was scared by a fan’s very overzealous reaction to her Instagram selfies of herself in a black Vuori Clothing bodysuit.
The fan responded to Livvy’s post with a lengthy poem detailing how she has “captured my heart in ways I never thought were possible” – to which she simply replied, “I’m scared.”
Another Instagram follower declared his love for her by dreaming of holding her hand, to which Livvy replied with a hint about her relationship with MLB prospect Paul Skenes of the Pittsburgh Pirates.
“I hate to tell you…” Dunne wrote back.
The social media personality, who is a NIL valuation of $3.7 millionwho is ranked only behind Colorado quarterback Sheddeur Sanders ($4.7 million) and USC guard Bronny James ($4.5 million), previously feared for her safety on the LSU campus due to online threats and creeps.
LSU’s gymnastics team even had to hire a bodyguard for Dunne during meets last year after she was harassed by a gang of “rude” teenage boys in Utah.
