Jurgen Klopp was left fuming in the Liverpool dugout after Joe Gomez attempted a wild shot on target as the Reds trailed 2-0 to Atalanta.

The 26-year-old was clearly looking forward to himself with an effort from 35 yards when he was tapped before smashing an effort on target that quickly sailed high over the crossbar into the crowd.
Annoyed teammates cut frustrated figures as Klopp staggered around his technical area shouting animatedly after the defender’s failed attempt.
Liverpool must now find a way to overturn a huge 3-0 deficit when they travel to Bergamo in northern Italy next week.
The Reds are well-suited for staging famous European comebacks having previously fought back from a 3-0 defeat to Barcelona in the Champions League semi-final three years ago on their way to a sixth title in the competition.

Klopp later criticized his full-time players, insisting they had ‘lost the plot’ against Gian Piero Gasperini’s side.
‘We started very well and then we didn’t go any further. Before they even scored, we kind of lost the plot.
‘We were everywhere and nowhere. The midfield was so divided, right and left. I didn’t recognize it one bit, it was really strange,” he added.
Liverpool will now look to return to the Premier League title when they host Crystal Palace on Sunday.
