Family use a drone to find their lost dog… and find it playing with a family of wild BEARS!

A family who lost their dog and resorted to using a drone to locate him were stunned to see him playing with a family of bears in the woods.

Footage captured of the heartwarming moment on Russia’s far-eastern Kamchatka Peninsula shows the playful husky nudging a large bear in an apparent introduction.

The stocky animal then sniffs the dog and gently pokes it with its paw to check for a response.

In the middle of a forest you can see the two furry creatures standing next to each other before the husky jumps into the forest.

The footage then cuts to show the pup bouncing between three other bears as the family slowly creeps through the greenery.

The dog, full of life, hops in and out of the bears’ path while playfully disrupting the family’s walk, occasionally engaging with the cub.

And while the group is technically a pack of predators, they seem unfazed by the excited mutt.

The drone continues to hover overhead, giving viewers an adorable view of the husky jumping in front of two bears before boldly turning around to see if they want to play.

The two smaller bears seem to enjoy the dog’s enthusiasm and start jumping along the path next to the pup.

The touching moment then turns into a game of chase as the husky stops and runs after his new fluffy friends.

Now a group of four, the squad continues their journey through the grassy opening as the dog sprints alongside the pack.

The family had reportedly lost their pet while walking through the woods, but were shocked to see what he had been up to during his short stay.

The images have already been viewed more than 27 million times and 12,000 comments on Instagram.

Social media users and dog lovers were quick to leave their thoughts on the adorable clip.

One said: ‘That one bear gave him a push like ‘go the fuck home dude’.”

Another commented: ‘That one bear looked up at the drone at the end and said, ‘Please come get your dog.’

“That’s a Pixar movie right there!” added a third.

Another joked: ‘This proves that if humans disappeared today, other animals would keep our dogs as pets.’

A fifth chimed in: “Freakin huskies. We adopted one after he spent six months running around with a pack of coyotes and then got bored.” [sic]

Another added: ‘These are Russian Kamchatka bears and not grizzly bears, even though they belong to the same family of brown bears.

“Kamchatka bears are much larger than grizzly bears, which is why they look so plump in North Americans.”

The footage came as a surprise to viewers as dogs and bears are not known to be best friends BearVault.

‘From fights over bait in the wild to territorial disputes in backyards, they have never been known to get along,’ experts claim.

“It’s no surprise, then, that bringing a dog into a bear’s home poses some risk of bear-dog encounters.”

A 2019 University of Wisconsin study found evidence that “dogs can provoke defensive attacks from black bears.”

This is why experts recommend that they should be on a leash when walking through forest areas with a dog.
