In a third outfit, Gwen put on a leggy show in a black skirt that she paired with a matching crop top.

In her interview with the publication, Gwen opened up about her “miracle pregnancy.”

The singer is mother to Kingston, 17, Zuma, 15, and Apollo, 10, with her ex Gavin Rossdale who she divorced in 2015 after 13 years of marriage.

Speaking about motherhood, Gwen shared how becoming pregnant with her youngest son was a ‘miracle’ that restarted her life.

She said: ‘I went from a difficult time in my life to the birth of Apollo. Getting pregnant with him was really the beginning [a series] of miracles,” she says. ‘It was almost like a restart of my life – the second chapter.’

Gwen was a mentor at the time on The Voice, where she met her now husband Blake Shelton in 2014.

As a working mother, Gwen admitted that it’s difficult to find time to record new music alongside her parenting duties.

She said: ‘I told Blake this the other day: ‘You don’t understand – to be a mother and a wife and then write a record?’

“Anyone might say, ‘What took you so long?’ Well, okay, I want to see you try to find five seconds to get creative,” she says. “It’s so hard to deal with the life I have.”

Gwen further elaborated on some of the career opportunities she had to miss out on due to her responsibilities at home.

She was asked into the studio to record with Akon shortly after the birth of her son Kingston, but found out soon after she was pregnant again.

She said: ‘I was like, ‘What are you talking about?’ says Stefani. “The baby is nine weeks old!”

When her second pregnancy disrupted a No Doubt reunion, she added, “I think everyone was disappointed. I don’t think they would say that. No one will be mad that you’re having a baby. But while I was busy, they were waiting.

‘I got a little lost. I got lost because I didn’t really have a band, didn’t really have the people at the label that used to be my family, because so much time has passed.”

Elsewhere during the interview, Gwen discussed her marriage to “best friend” Blake.

Opening up about the insecurities she faced at one point in her marriage, the hitmaker debunked rumors that they were getting divorced, calling the speculations ‘lies’.

Their new duet song, Purple Irises, was written by Gwen and was originally intended as a solo song before she agreed to have Blake join her.

The song is about how the seemingly perfect life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be and the older it gets.

Gwen said she was thinking about her relationship with Blake when she wrote the song.

The star admitted that she had been thinking about her insecurities in her relationship at the time she wrote Purple Irises: “I’ve had moments where you wonder, ‘Oh my god, am I just getting older?’ Am I cute? “‘

“In my own relationship, even though I know the truth of what’s happening today, you still create drama in your own mind about your insecurities and what could happen. I was in that phase of the relationship with Blake and I was getting paranoid.”

Her husband said they both harbored the same fear: “It’s an insecurity we both have,” he said.

“These are conversations she and I have with each other: ‘Are you still going to love me when I’m old or when I forget who I am?’ he said.

During the pandemic, the couple began transplanting purple irises they found on Blake’s farm in Oklahoma — a task the rural artist noticed his wife had a talent for.

“Gwen has an incredible sense of planting things: how to grow them and, once it grows, how to cultivate it and when to prune something,” Blake recalls.

‘I like to farm on a large scale, like corn or beans, hectares at a time. She concentrates more on spots here and there and can ultimately work things a little better than I can.’

Taking care of the flowers helped Gwen calm her mind: “The truth is, I’m in love with my best friend,” she explained. “And all these things I’m thinking about in my head, that’s all it is — I’m thinking too much.”

She also called the rumors that she was divorcing Blake “lies.”

‘But if you are in love and really have the same values, no one can come to us. Say whatever you want about our relationship – I mean, a week ago we got divorced again or something,” she said of the rumors.

‘They’re just lies. The truth is the truth, and we know what that is. And so that [negativity] would never get through just by being vulnerable and sharing a song I wrote for no one but myself and Blake.”

The singer has come a long way since her days in Southern California as she embraces farm life with her husband.

“Gwen has her own tractor now,” Blake said, “and we’re working on her soon being able to start it up and go out and do her own thing.”
