The Dubai-based airline holds Open Days in more than 460 cities around the world where people can submit their CV and see if they have what it takes to be part of the airline’s team.

To apply, people must also have at least one year of hospitality or customer service experience, have at least a high school education, have no visible tattoos and be able to meet UAE employment visa requirements.

Every recruitment event has a dress code that requires women to have their hair neatly done, ‘full make-up’, business attire and heels.

What happens during Emirates’ seven-and-a-half-week cabin crew training process?

Step One: Induction Experience – three days

As a new employee, we would like to welcome you to your new home, Dubai and the Emirates Group. We help you prepare for success, all the formalities and provide support throughout your entire learning journey.

Step two: Safety and emergencies – 13 days

Safety is one of our top priorities and your training will provide you with the skills and knowledge to ensure you, our customers and the aircraft remain safe. SEP covers aircraft equipment, firefighting, in-flight emergencies and evacuation procedures.

Step three: Group medical training – five days

We at Emirates believe in being prepared for any situation. Your training will equip you with the skills to confidently handle any emergency, including CPR, treating hemorrhages, burns, emergency deliveries and a variety of medical conditions.

Step four: Security training – two days

We make no concessions when it comes to safety. Therefore, your training includes the appropriate procedures, techniques and skills to prevent and control unruly behavior, hijacking, sabotage and personal safety, and to implement safety measures on board.

Step Five: Emirates Hospitality Experience – two days

Hospitality is our passion at Emirates. During your training you will learn to create signature moments with excellence, enthusiasm and attention. And at the end of the two days, you will be ready to deliver Emirates Hospitality with finesse.

Step Six: Uniform Learning Experience – One Day

You’re in the final part of your training and it’s time to learn how to wear the iconic cabin crew uniform and represent Emirates. Your training will include all the details needed to look flawless and lead a healthy lifestyle.

Step Seven: Service Learning Experience – 14 days

The quality of our onboard service is what sets us apart from all other airlines. You’ll learn all about Emirates’ signature service in state-of-the-art facilities that simulate what it’s like to work on board our A380 and B777 aircraft.
