Travis Kelce ‘the perfect host’ for ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity’ as an insider reveals Taylor Swift’s boyfriend and Super Bowl winner has made a brilliant first impression during filming

Travis Kelce is making a strong early impression thanks to his hosting skills during the taping of ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity’.

The three-time Super Bowl winner, who is dating Taylor Swift, has started filming the show – a reboot of Are Your Smarter than a 5th Grader – and the Kansas City Chiefs star has apparently started hosting with ease.

American weekly quoted a source: “He’s funny and has the brains for it. He is the perfect host. It’s a great performance for him.’

Kelce, 34, has some practice when it comes to hosting, as he co-hosts his own New Heights podcast with his older brother Jason.

He also hosted his own Saturday Night Live episode just months before meeting girlfriend Swift, as well as his own dating show years ago called “Catching Kelce.”

He has made no secret of the fact that once his playing days are over, he would like to take on a role behind the camera.

Speaking before the Super Bowl in February, Kelce told reporters in Las Vegas: “I’ll get into anything, just to see if I have fun with it.

“And I know there’s definitely Hollywood talk, but I’ve been focused on football all season, so I’ll probably have a lot of those meetings and conversations when it’s all said and done.”

He has spent the past few weeks with Swift in Los Angeles after the loved-up couple returned from a romantic getaway in the Bahamas.

It was recently reported that Kelce agreed to host his new television show before his romance with Swift caused his explosion in fame.

But even if there’s a suggestion that Kelce might have been able to land a bigger gig now, it sounds like he’s off to a strong early start in his new job.

Kelce’s reboot will air on the paid streaming service Amazon Prime Video.

The new format will see the contestants compete against a group of three celebrities, instead of the previous panel of primary school children.

When Kelce returns to the preseason, he and his Kansas City teammates will have a shot at a historic third Super Bowl victory.

Last season they went back-to-back and defeated the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl in Las Vegas.

And the year before that, Travis defeated his brother Jason and the Philadelphia Eagles.
