He scares, he scores! Bizarre moment a ‘ghost’ appears to run among the fans during a Bolivian football match… just before their team hits the back of the net

This is the bizarre moment a ‘ghost’ appears to sprint past the stands during a Bolivian football match, moments before their team scores a goal.

Soccer fans were stunned Friday to see the mysterious shadowy figure on video sprinting past the stands during a recent match at the Hernando Siles Stadium in La Paz, Bolivia.

CCTV footage shows it darting around the bend of the stadium, but matchgoers were apparently unaware of the ghost’s presence and did not flinch as the eerie figure passed them just inches away.

The alleged paranormal event occurred when home team The Strongest were leading 1-0 against rival San Antonio Bulo Bulo in the 70th minute of the match.

The top-level league match ended with the home team, nicknamed Tigre, recording a 2-0 victory. The visitors, on the other hand, had one of their players sent off the field.

It is not the first time that a ‘ghost’ has been sighted in Bolivia’s largest stadium.

Ten years ago, a cameraman caught a shadowy figure running quickly through a grandstand, What’sTheJam reported.

It happened in the 91st minute of a Libertadores Cup match between The Strongest and Defensor Sporting.

According to some fans, the ghost’s appearance brought a curse on their beloved club.

Some believe the recent sighting was the same ghost showing up again.

Social media user Aaron commented: ‘Now we’re going to be second in the Bolivian League for ten years and not reach the quarter-finals of the Libertadores. Thanks, little ghost.”

Another person asked, “Has the curse of the Tigre returned?”
