Married at First Sight: Social media erupts over supervillain Jack’s shirt during explosive reunion dinner – as some fans shockingly DEFEND his fashion choice

Jono McCullough became the new Married At First Sight supervillain during Sunday night’s explosive reunion dinner.

But despite flying under the radar during the episode, his predecessor Jack Dunkley didn’t completely escape the limelight, with many fans taking to social media to blast the personal trainer’s choice of dinner attire.

“Jack literally matches the color of his shirt,” one fan wrote Xnoting that the lilac shade of the garment matched Dunkley’s extremely dark color.

Another viewer attacked both Jack’s shirt and his signature hairstyle.

‘Not only are Jack’s skin and shirt the same color, but while the f***eyed hairline no longer haunts us… we now have a new Shein wig with slightly less coverage. It gives ‘draining hair’, they joked.

However, one fan surprisingly jumped to the 34-year-old’s defense and his unorthodox fashion choices.

“Most shocking of all…I think Jack is wearing a shirt that is almost his actual size!!!!”

It comes after Jono cemented his place as the latest MAFS villain.

The groom, 40, stirred up the drama when he walked through the door hand-in-hand with Ellie Dix on Sunday evening, following their texting scandal behind wife Lauren Dunn’s back.

But when the spotlight fell on him at the final dinner party, he easily diverted attention by drumming up drama between married couple Sara Mesa and Tim Calwell and calling their tumultuous relationship into question.

“I heard Tim say he felt like he was rushed into the Final Vows and if he had had that time he would have made a different decision,” Jono said, implying that the groom doesn’t actually want a relationship with Sara to have.

“Deflection, deflection,” groom Timothy Smith shouted as the other couples were left stunned by the confession.

While the brides began to wonder where Jono got this information, he continued to target Tim, 31, and claimed it was all true.

Jono’s plan seemed to be working when Sara, 29, immediately turned her fiery temper on Tim and said: ‘What did you say to Jono?’

“I didn’t say I would have made a different decision, I said I possibly could have,” Tim said, trying to downplay what he had confided to Jono.

‘What do you mean?’ Sara shouted at him, to which Tim replied: ‘It was a hectic roller coaster.’

“But that’s you saying you would have said ‘no,'” Sara insisted, though Tim continued to deny it.

Meanwhile, Ellie, 32, and Jono appeared to be having a happy time at the table, giggling together as Sara and Tim continued to argue.

‘I feel like we can’t laugh. Hang in there,” Ellie said as Jono tried to hide his smile behind his hand.

“Don’t look so happy, you (bleep),” Timothy told them.

MAFS viewers flocked to X – formerly known as Twitter – to fan the flames of Jono’s new-found villain.

One person wrote: ‘Jono sat back like the cat that got the cream, enjoying the chaos.’

Another commented: ‘Jono is laughing because he has successfully diverted attention from himself. And him and Ellie giggling is fucking disgusting.”

“Jono made the show tonight, I guess. What’s strange is that he’s brought a swagger that’s completely opposite to anything he’s shown in recent weeks… it’s like these people are often in play,” said a third.

“This is so painful lol,” another added, but many were quick to express their joy at the drama Jono was enacting between the other couples.

One happy viewer tweeted: ‘Anyone else loving this? I can’t stand Jono or Lauren, Sara is terribly pouty from her box and her true psychopath comes out again, pure entertainment.’

Someone else wrote: ‘Well this certainly makes up for the incredibly boring last episode.’

After denying they had feelings for each other, Jono and Ellie struck up a romance with each other just a few weeks after Jono and Lauren broke up on Final Vows.
