Megan McKenna sends fans WILD as she ‘reveals’ baby’s gender following pregnancy announcement

Pregnant Megan McKenna left fans convinced she accidentally revealed the gender of her first baby as she detailed her desires during an Instagram video on Saturday.

The former TOWIE star, 31, announced on Thursday that she was expecting with footballer fiance Oliver Burke, before saying she would not be doing a gender reveal.

Now, Megan confirmed she’s 13 weeks pregnant in her latest video and discussed her latest cravings before cooking herself a big breakfast. She wished she could “eat all day,” followed by fresh oranges.

In the comments section, one fan said, “Apparently craving orange means it’s going to be a boy.”

While a second said: ‘How funny, I just said I felt like having oranges and I was having a boy!’.

Megan and Oliver previously said they’re excited about the pregnancy, but the journey hasn’t been smooth sailing.

In Thursday’s sweet video, she said: ‘I ate my three meals a day because before I would just eat a big dinner and snack all day long. I know that’s not good for the baby.’

“I’ve been really sick and stuff. It’s been a roller coaster. But it all turned out fine,” she added.

Cradling her blossoming belly while cooking a chicken and vegetable soup, the TV personality said they are very excited about the pregnancy and happy that they no longer have to keep their baby a secret.

Megan said they won’t partake in the trendy ritual of a gender reveal because they believe surprises like those with a baby are rare.

She said: ‘We are so excited but we have decided that we are not going to do a gender reveal. We’re going to wait and be surprised, because I don’t think you ever encounter such surprises in life.’

Megan showed off her baby bump in parts of the clip as she posed in a dressing gown, while at other times she could be seen holding up her scan.

She also shared the moment she and Birmingham City player Oliver discovered she was pregnant after taking a test.

Another sweet moment showed Oliver hugging her and touching her stomach as they stood in front of a mirror.

Her friends were quick to congratulate her in the comments while Love Island’s Liberty Poole wrote: ‘Congratulations beautiful, so excited for you!!!’

Last June, Megan announced the news that she was engaged to Oliver after just five months together.

The pair have gone from strength to strength since they were first spotted together in February that year, and after a romantic getaway to Montenegro, Megan revealed they had taken things to the next level.
