Tom Brady’s $17 million mansion sprouts an impressive garden with vegetables and flowers growing along eight plots as construction nears completion on Miami’s ‘billionaire bunker’

Looking for some peas on a whole radish property owned by a big dill? See Tom Brady’s nearly completed mansion at the ‘Billionaire Bunker’ in Miami, where the New England Patriots legend planted his roots.

As seen in aerial photos from above Indian Creek, a man-made barrier island in Miami-Dade County, Brady’s new $17 million mansion features an enviable garden, where a variety of vegetables and flowers appear to grow on eight congruent rectangular plots. Other Indian Creek residents include Jeff Bezos and Julio Iglesias, as well as Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner.

It remains unclear whether Brady did the honors himself or whether the retired NFL star enlisted some area gardeners to handle the heavy lifting.

Of course, the 46-year-old is no stranger to healthy eating. Through his brand, TB12, Brady has promoted a primarily plant-based diet that includes a number of anti-inflammatory foods.

According to Brady, the diet is “common sense.”

He eats meat, although “not that much,” he told his TB12 website.

“If anything, I subscribe to balance,” he said.

Brady is a big believer in whole foods that are grown, not manufactured.

Of course, the gardens are just the latest addition to Brady’s dazzling property bordering North Miami Beach.

He recently added a boat dock and pickleball court, according to previously released photos.

Brady and ex-wife Gisele Bundchen bought the house together four years ago and the property is finally nearing completion – nine months after DailyMail.com published exclusive photos of the ongoing construction.

In the time since, Brady’s home on Indian Creek Island has changed quite a bit, with several amenities added to the massive home.

New photos show Brady having his own dock built on the water, not far from his home.

Additionally, the seven-time Super Bowl winner has built a pickleball court, with basketball hoops on both sides.

DailyMail.com previously revealed that the quarterback, reportedly worth well over $500 million, did not invest anything in purchasing the property, opting instead to take out a mortgage for the full amount plus the option to borrow an additional $17 million to borrow.

When he and Bundchen parted ways in October 2022, Brady took on the building’s renovations, while Bundchen moved on to purchase her own property across the waterway.

Before the split, Bündchen had paid $1.3 million for a three-bedroom waterfront home in Surfside, which she had renovated, according to construction documents.

The 43-year-old then spent $11.5 million on a five-bedroom, 6,600-square-foot property just a few doors down from the smaller home and across the street from her former husband’s home.

The former couple wanted to build a forever home in Miami’s Indian Creek Country Club community for themselves and their children, John Edward, Benjamin and Vivian.

The total cost of the home is expected to be nearly $30 million, as they paid $17 million for the land and another $10.12 million in construction costs for the custom home.

The house also features a yoga terrace, solar panels, a cabana and a main and outdoor kitchen.

Floor plans of the home previously obtained by the New York Post show it spans a massive 17,000 square feet and includes five bedrooms and 11 bathrooms, along with an elevator, movie theater and guest suite.

After a legendary playing career in the NFL, Brady hung up the shoe for the second and final time in February 2023.

But he will soon be back in the spotlight as an NFL analyst for Fox Sports.

He signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with the network and will begin calling games this fall.

Even at 46 years old, Brady is still in great physical shape. Last month he ran a faster 40-yard dash time than when he was just 22.

In a video shared on social media, Brady explains how he ran the 40-yard dash in 5.28 seconds at the NFL Combine, a poor mark before he was drafted in the sixth round.

Brady had two friends who timed him during the flight: one registered him at 5.18 and another stopped the clock at 5.12.
