Lydia West was spotted for the first time since announcing she has secretly welcomed her first child.
The actress, 30, promoted her new show Big Mood on Friday with co-star Nicola Coughlan on CBS Morning in New York.
The It’s A Sin star wore a loose-fitting khaki suit with a racerneck top underneath and kept her outfit casual with a pair of white slip-on sneakers.
The mother-of-one was left in shock during the segment when asked if there were any real stories about the difficult transition during your twenties, as portrayed in the couple’s new show.
Lydia and Nicola looked to each other for support as to which stories should and should not be shared on television, with Lydia responding with “I mean… is anyone actually enjoying their twenties?”

The couple decided at that moment that they would not return to their twenties again if given the chance.
However, the Bridgeton star does say ‘although in your twenties you could get away with a lot more’.
It comes as Lydia discussed balancing work and family life after recently welcoming her first child.
Lydia revealed in March that she had become a mother and that life is “so different now.”
Speak with Cosmopolitan BritainLydia discussed combining parenthood with her working life.
“I’ve always wanted a family,” she said. ‘It’s so difficult for our generation. We have to be career-oriented.
‘It’s great that women now have so many opportunities, but you do feel like you have to make a choice. Do you focus on your family? Or your career?’
The actress has not revealed the gender of her child.

With filming on the series complete, Lydia insisted she was keen to spend some quality time with her baby before looking for another project.
“I’m excited to spend time with my little family until a possible season two,” she said.
Lydia also discussed her friendships with her co-stars and how important it is for them to discuss how much they have been paid for acting gigs.
She said: “My colleagues and I have a relationship now where we talk about job compensation… It’s so hard to have those discussions and say, ‘Oh, what are you getting paid for this? Does this sound about right?’
‘But you talk about everything with your best friends, so why is the topic of finances or how much you earn something we don’t do?
‘That was a great lesson for me. And then sharing industry advice and supporting each other when we go through tough times at work.”
