Ronda Rousey names the male WWE star she confronted after he pulled a string on her sweatpants… as she blasts the company’s sexist culture that surrounded Vince McMahon

Ronda Rousey revealed which male WWE star she confronted after he pulled a string on her sweatpants.

The franchise has been criticized in recent months due to the ongoing scandal surrounding Vince McMahon, who became the center of sex trafficking allegations early this year and resigned from his role at TKO.

While the 37-year-old Rousey, who fought in the WWE from 2018 until her departure last October, said she never directly had to deal with misconduct from McMahon, she said another fighter did something she didn’t like.

Drew Gulak, who currently wrestles in NXT, was accused of inappropriate actions in a public hallway despite being “barely known” to Rousey at the time.

She said the incident highlighted the company’s culture as no other WWE employees intervened despite what was happening before their eyes.

Rousey told NewsNation: ‘No one around me acted as if it was abnormal. All the guys around me said, ‘This is just part of the day.’

She later confronted Gulak and told him that if he pulled a similar stunt, on her or any other woman, “we were going to be in trouble” – and he quickly backed down and thanked her for calling him.

She added, “I thought, if this guy comes up to me and does this stuff to me when there are other people around, what happens to these other girls if it’s not in a hallway?”

Rousey felt like no one else was speaking out about the issue because they were afraid of “negative consequences” from the WWE.

She added: “Everyone is held hostage to their career, but since I don’t plan on going back there unless they make some really big changes, I don’t really care if they have me back or not.

“I can wrestle wherever I want, and the truth must be told.”

Gulak responded to the news on

‘I stopped to say hello and shake all their hands, and in trying to shake her hand I accidentally touched her drawstring.

“A complete accident, for which I apologized to her for the accident.”

She had previously described WWE as an ‘absolute s*** show’ and vowed never to return to the franchise.

She said, “It’s sometimes hard to know where the evil, unethical, slimy character of Vince McMahon that played out in front of the cameras ends and the actually questionably ethical, oft-sued and multiple times accused of sexual misconduct Vince McMahon begins… .. ‘

In another interview, Rousey admitted she was scared for the future, having suffered from concussions for “most of the year” during her UFC career before making the move to WWE in 2018.

While with WWE, Rousey competed in the first women’s match to headline WrestleMania, in a three-way match with Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch.

Lynch won the triple threat match in one of Rousey’s only pinfall losses in her time with WWE.

Rousey’s last match with WWE took place last summer against former MMA competitor Shayna Baszler, who came out on top.
