Nottingham Forest 3-1 Fulham: Magical Morgan Gibbs-White inspires Forest to victory, as goals from the star man, Chris Wood and Callum Hudson-Odoi lift Nuno Espirito Santo’s side three clear of the relegation zone
- Arsenal have FINALLY grown up… they were soft and you can’t say that anymore. It all starts
Nottingham Forest survived Fulham’s second-half attack to claim a much-needed 3-1 win at the City Ground, moving them three points clear of the relegation zone.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side started the match like crazy and, inspired by the brilliant Morgan Gibbs-White, raced into a three-goal lead before half-time.
Callum Hudson-Odoi opened the scoring after just nine minutes, before Chris Wood doubled the lead ten minutes later.
It was then Gibbs-White’s turn to step into action with a well-taken finish in first-half stoppage time.
Infuriated by what he had seen in the opening 30 minutes, Marco Silva made the usual decision to make three changes before the break, but had to wait until four minutes after the restart to see his team respond.

Tosin Adarabioyo took advantage of the home side’s ineptitude from set pieces to deliver a nervous ending to the Premier League tie. Fulham pressed for further attacks but Forest held firm and took the crucial three points.
