Married at First Sight star Jade takes a swipe at controversial couple Jack and Tori following final vows: ‘They’ve wasted enough of my time’

Married at First Sight stars Jade Pywell and Ridge Barredo proclaimed their enduring love and chose to continue their relationship after the experiment during Sunday night’s final vows ceremony.

On Monday morning, the couple appeared on Today Extra to reflect on the series finale.

Jade, 26, took the opportunity to share her thoughts on supervillain Jack Dunkley, 34, and his partner Tori Adams, 27.

Earlier in the season, Jack openly flirted with Jade when the couples met separately so they could give each other one-on-one relationship feedback.

During the interview on Monday, Jade couldn’t contain her frustration with the controversial duo when she was asked for her opinion on the remaining couples.

“As for Jack and Tori, I have no comment on this matter because I feel like they’ve wasted enough of my time thinking about them so I’ve just put them on the back burner,” she said.

“Final Vows will be interesting for everyone else to watch.”

Jade also revealed that Jayden Eynaud, 26, and Eden Harper, 28, are her favorite duo.

In March, the bride shared her thoughts on Ridge’s friendship with Jack and her reasons for distancing herself from the controversial couple.

“As far as I’m concerned, Ridge and Jack are not friends,” she told Ny Breaking Australia.

“I think Ridge and I were on Jack and Tori’s side for the most part throughout the whole experiment.”

“Obviously that started to change after a while as more and more things came out about Jack and Tori,” Jade added.

“To the point where it was just ridiculous, and we kind of just looked stupid for being on their side.”

According to Jade, tensions increased as Jack and Tori became defensive of others’ opinions.

‘I think they were very offended by what everyone said. Like it really annoyed them instead of just embracing it and saying, yeah, this is what we’re dealing with,” she said.

Jade recalls instances where she warned Ridge not to say anything, not out of a desire to protect Tori, but to avoid adding fuel to the fire.

“But yeah, Ridge definitely looks back on it and says, I honestly could have said so much more,” she said.

Jade’s concern about Tori’s position in the story was clear.

“I imagine it wouldn’t have been very nice for her to say she doesn’t care,” she explained.

“Maybe she just doesn’t care. But I know if my partner said the things Jack said to Ridge, I wouldn’t be happy.”

Married At First Sight continues on Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine.
