Inter Miami owner David Beckham says he crossed something off his bucket list when he met tennis legend Andre Agassi in South Florida this week.

Beckham posted a photo of himself standing next to the 53-year-old American on a tennis court.

“Bucket list moment,” Beckham said in the caption. “As a kid I had the racket, the oversized shorts, the walk and the hair, and now I’ve met the man.

‘WOW what a morning and I got to see that backhand @agassi Thanks’.

Agassi is in South Florida to attend the Miami Open – with the eight-time Grand Slam winner spotted during the women’s final between Danielle Collins and Elena Rybakina.

Tomorrow is the men’s singles final between Jannik Sinner, world number 3, and Gregor Dmitrov, world number 12.

Agassi coached Dmitrov between 2018 and 2020.

As for Beckham, his Inter Miami side has a home game against New York City FC tonight.

The Herons have played six matches so far, winning two, losing two and drawing one in the last five matches.

They will look to bounce back from their most recent match – an embarrassing 4-0 defeat to the New York Red Bulls, where former Miami player Lewis Morgan scored a hat-trick.
