Victoria Beckham toasts her Paris triumph (and thawing of wedding feud) with shots of £600 tequila 

It was a double celebration for Victoria Beckham in the City of Love.

Her first-ever Paris Fashion Week show was made all the better by thawing the feud with daughter-in-law Nicola Peltz, who cheered her on from the front row.

On the occasion, Mrs. Beckham, who was said to have been ‘delighted’ by the presence of Miss Peltz and her eldest son Brooklyn, whipped up shots of Don Julio 1942 tequila – which costs £600 a bottle.

The 48-year-old also treated her guests to a steak and chips dinner at her favorite restaurant Girafe, which is close to the Eiffel Tower.

However, the designer – who was dressed for the occasion in a £982 midi dress from her own collection – enjoyed a healthier meal of steamed fish.

Shortly after showing off her spring 2023 fashion collection on the runway, Mrs. Beckham led her own fashion parade, made up of husband David and daughter Harper, as she left her £12,000 a night hotel, La Reserve, to make her way. to the after party.

She paired her bright green dress with eye-catching red open-toe sock boots, which cost £955 from her label, while the former England footballer opted for an ice-blue suit and a men’s cross-body bag.

Meanwhile, 11-year-old Harper wore a £2,000 silk and lace dress from her mother’s 2021 collection, with a pair of bright yellow trainers.

Beckhams’ other two sons — aspiring pop star Cruz, 17, and football player Romeo, 20 — also attended the celebratory dinner, with Cruz in double denim and Romeo in black cargo pants and a sweatshirt.

Among the celebrities who attended to help Ms. Beckham celebrate the occasion were Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria, as well as supermodel Gigi Hadid, who had previously starred on the show.

Like his brothers, Brooklyn embraced a low-key look for the evening, appearing in jeans and a sweater, while Nicola paired a skin-tight leather dress with gravity-defying white platforms.

Despite their absence from dinner, sources close to the Beckhams say there has been a ‘thawing’ in the frosty relationship between the former Spice Girl and her son’s new wife.

They admit that “time is a wonderful healer” for the once-tight family after a rift following the lavish marriage of 23-year-old Brooklyn, and 27-year-old Florida heiress in May. The bride later claimed that Mrs. Beckham had changed her mind about designing her wedding dress.

‘If Brooklyn and Nicola didn’t want to be’ [at the show], they wouldn’t have been,” said a friend. “Families are complicated and there was a real culture clash between the two sides and things couldn’t be resolved because of the thousands of miles between them all.
