Lady Gaga hints at new songs as she marks her 38th birthday in radiant post: ‘I am writing some of my best music in as long as I can remember’
Lady Gaga hinted at new music as she celebrated her 38th birthday on Thursday.
The singer, who marked her special day with a bang in Santa Monica, California, laid out plans for new songs four years after the release of album Chromatica, as she spoke about her hopes for the year ahead.
‘Today was so special. I can’t remember being this happy on my birthday,” the hitmaker wrote in a lengthy social media post.
She appeared to be makeup-free and sat in her car in photos posted on the platform.
Her long, blonde hair was allowed to hang in natural waves around her shoulders, and her eyebrows appeared to have been bleached to match her mane.

“I am in love with my best friend,” she wrote referring to her romance with boyfriend Michael Polansky, “my family and friends are loving, kind and healthy,” she said.
“I feel like my heart is bursting with gratitude for my own health and MUSIC,” she wrote.
“I’ve been writing some of my best music for as long as I can remember,” the artist stated testily.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you for loving me the way you do and for having such a true love for my songs,” she said.
‘I’ve been writing pop songs since I was a little girl. I can’t believe I can still do what I love.’
‘This year will be an important and meaningful year for us, I know that. Music changes people’s lives. I am so honored to be a part of that in this life.”
Since the beginning of this year, the Oscar winner has been sharing snapshots and clips of herself in the studio.
The last album the Golden Globe winner released was Chromatica in April 2020.
