A few sore eggs this morning! Easter Bank holiday revellers hit the town at the start of the long weekend – and morning hangovers mean it won’t be a very Good Friday for many
Last night revelers from across the country kicked off the Easter weekend in style with a big Thursday night out, meaning many wouldn’t have the best ‘Good Friday’.
Thousands of Brits braved the stormy weather and headed to pubs, bars and clubs to start their Easter celebrations.
The impressive session took place despite the best efforts of Storm Nelson, which lashed the south, bringing 75mph winds, heavy rain, hail and thunder.
Colorful photos showing punters dropping out of locations in Leeds, Nottingham and Newcastle show the astonishing extent of Easter debauchery.
Other footage showed clubbers using clothing as makeshift umbrellas as they battled the elements in search of the next icy pot.
