Theory emerges after car is sprawled with abusive messages in Surry Hills, Sydney
A photo of a vandalized car spray-painted with the words ‘liar’ and ‘I know what you did’ has gone viral with many speculating that a disgruntled ex was behind the attack.
The car was parked outside a popular chicken shop on Foveaux Street, Surry Hills, in Sydney’s east.
A photo of the damaged vehicle went viral on Reddit.
Meanwhile, in the neighboring suburb of Potts Point, another vehicle was spotted with clothing strewn across it, prompting speculation about a possible link between the incidents.
‘I took both photos yesterday. Related?’ asked the Reddit user who shared the images.
“I guess two jilted exes from different relationships are getting revenge on someone,” one Aussie speculated, while another mused: “Cheating and marital problems.”
However, some people disputed the idea of a link between the incidents, pointing out that the cars were spotted in different locations.
“That’s a fair distance to travel for a little revenge, so I’m going to say they’re probably not related,” said another.
