Leah McSweeney calls on Andy Cohen to APOLOGIZE over Kate Middleton conspiracy theories saying Bravo host ‘gets a kick out of being cruel to women’ – following Blake Lively admitting regret
Leah McSweeney called out Andy Cohen on social media on Friday for theories he made about Kate Middleton’s absence.
The 41-year-old Real Housewives of New York City star — who is suing Bravo and Cohen, 55 — took to her Instagram Stories to share her thoughts after the Princess of Wales announced her shock cancer diagnosis.
In white font against a black background, McSweeney wrote: “Andy Cohen gets a kick out of being cruel to women and Kate Middleton is no exception.
‘I hope that after being forced to talk publicly about her cancer diagnosis, he will have the decency to apologize. People with power must set a good example.’
It comes amid actress Blake Lively’s apology to the royal family, which she released earlier this week, addressing the recent photo editing controversy surrounding a snapshot of the princess and her children released in Britain on Mother’s Day.

A few days ago, McSweeney posted a photo of Middleton to her Instagram grid, along with a heartfelt caption defending the princess.
She wrote to her 460,000 followers in the caption: ‘Please leave this woman alone, everyone.
“Yes, she’s a princess, but she’s also human. Have we learned nothing yet? Has Social Media Destroyed Empathy?
‘The amount of jokes and gossip about someone dealing with a medical situation and wanting privacy, regardless of their nature of celebrity, is so disheartening. I hope she gets better soon.’
Meanwhile, Blake, 36, was dragged by fans after she quit her drinks company on March 13 – and mocked the royal family’s Photoshop fail by posting an obviously edited photo of herself by a pool on Instagram.
She wrote at the time: ‘I’m so excited to share this new photo I took today to announce our 4 new @bettybuzz and @bettybooze products! Now you know why I’m missing.’
In the wake of Middleton’s announcement of her health crisis, Lively wrote online, “I’m sure no one cares today, but I feel like I need to acknowledge this.”
“I made a stupid post about the ‘photoshop fails’ frenzy and, oh man, that post bummed me out today.” Lively’s original post has now been deleted.
