This Morning viewers criticized Blue for mimicking during Friday’s show.

The 1990s boy band has reunited for a 2024 Greatest Hits Tour, starting next month, to celebrate 20 years together.

The comeback comes after Lee Ryan, 40, avoided jail following his racially aggravated attack on a black British Airways flight attendant, to whom he told: ‘I want your chocolate children’.

Lee was given a 12-month suspended prison sentence in September after assaulting Leah Gordon and behaving in an abusive manner towards her, having previously pleaded guilty to being drunk on a plane, for which he was given a four-month prison sentence. .

During their performance on Friday’s show, fans were unimpressed and accused Blue of miming the medley instead of singing it live.

The group first reunited in January 2011 and represented Great Britain in that year’s Eurovision Song Contest, where they finished in 11th place after performing I Can in Dusseldorf.

They released two more studio albums, their fourth Roulette in 2013 and their fifth Colors in 2015.

In 2013, they joined groups such as Liberty X, Atomic Kitten and 5ive to perform a one-off performance as part of The Big Reunion.

When their tour was due to start, it was postponed after bandmate Lee was arrested after acting ‘intimidating’ and ‘crazy’ on a flight from Glasgow to London City Airport.

He was given a suspended prison sentence of twelve months.

Passing sentence at Isleworth Crown Court, His Honor Judge Nicholas Wood told Ryan he was fortunate to avoid an immediate custodial sentence. He added that the sentence was suspended because of the remorse he had shown and because of the singer’s psychological state.

The judge told Ryan: ‘You have disgraced yourself by doing this. I think you’re aware of that.’

He added: “The language you used may be acceptable in the entertainment industry, but it has no place on an aircraft flown by cabin crew.”
