Final Fantasy 14 patch 6.58 is now live with PvP and ferocious raid tweaks ahead of Dawntrail’s launch this summer
Square Enix released the latest Final Fantasy 14 Online patch prior to the launch of the Dawn trail expansion this summer.
While not a major content update, patch 6.58 does make significant changes to many of the core features of the Massively Multiplayer Online Game (MMO). For example, with the patch, players can now earn rewards much faster and more often with the 24-person Thaleia Alliance raid, as the weekly limit on loot and coins has been removed.
The weekly restriction on receiving Unsung Blades of Anabaseios from Anabaseios: The Twelfth Circle has also been removed, while the drop rate for the Lynx of Abyssal Grief Flute in the Abyssal Fracture (Extreme) has been further increased to make grinding for mounts even easier to make.
Additionally, players will now find that The Abyssal Fracture (Extreme) has been moved from the Raid Finder to the Duty Finder and the power of the Echo granted in Pandaemonium: Anabaseios (Savage) has been increased, providing a boost to health and damage . treated, and the healing power by 15%.
Two elsewhere Final fantasy 14 Jobs has received changes for PvP Season 10, which will end soon, including Paladin and Dancer. More specifically, Paladin’s barrier effect has been slightly reduced from five seconds to four by the Holy Sheltron action, while its potency has been dramatically reduced from 12,000 to 8,000.
It’s not all nerfs though, as damage dealt to nearby enemies has been increased from 100% of remaining barrier power to 150%. Paladin’s Confiteor, Blade of Faith, Blade of Truth, and Blade of Valor skills have also received a small damage boost of 1,000 respectively.
As for Dancer, the Honey Ovation ability has received a slight nerf, reducing the attack and barrier power of each stack of Acclaim by 1,000. You can check out the details in the patch notes here as well as further system and bug fixes.
Patch 6.58 will be the last update before the upcoming launch of Dawn trail this summer. The expansion Unfortunately, it doesn’t have a release date yet, but players can expect it to launch alongside official Xbox Series X|S support, which is also currently in open beta.
