Blast at a spare parts factory in Haryana’s Rewari, injuring 40 people
About 40 workers were taken to hospitals with burns on Saturday after an explosion in the boiler of a spare parts factory in Dharuhera’s industrial area, police said.
No casualties have been reported yet, a senior officer said.
Many of the injured were rushed to Civil Hospital in Rewari and some were referred to hospitals in Delhi and Gurugram, police said.
The incident took place around 5.50 pm when a boiler burst in the factory’s dust collector, police said.
Several fire engines rushed to the unit to extinguish the fire.
