Sydney Sweeney has made a habit of hitting the red carpet, but this time she was joined by some very special ladies in her life.
The 26-year-old actress was joined by three of her grandmothers at the Los Angeles premiere of her thriller Immaculate on Friday.

It was undoubtedly a special family moment for Sydney, as her two grandmothers were also cast as extras in the film.
Last month, Sydney revealed the news during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, saying, “They had never been to Europe. My grandfather’s dream was to go to Italy, she has never left the country, and so I surprised them, flew her there and had her be an extra in the movie.”
Sweeney’s grandmothers play a pair of “little old nuns” who live in the same Italian convent as her character Cecilia, who is the focus of the upcoming film.
The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actress brought some photos of her grandmothers to the set of Immaculate to show Fallon and the audience.
Fallon liked a photo of one of Sydney’s grandmothers in the nun costume while smoking a cigarette.
“This is my Grandy,” Sweeney explained, pointing to the photo. “She’s iconic and she needed a smoke break between takes, so we went outside and I had to capture how amazing she looked.”
The synopsis of Immaculate reads: ‘Cecilia (played by Sweeney), a woman of devout faith, is warmly welcomed to the beautiful Italian countryside, where she is offered a new role at an illustrious monastery. But it becomes clear to Cecilia that her new home harbors dark and gruesome secrets.’
The film’s trailer depicts Sydney saying, “God saved me for a reason. I’m still looking for what that reason is.’
Although everything seems perfect, dark forces are at work behind the monastery walls of the abbey.
A fellow nun is murdered and Cecilia soon discovers she is pregnant.
“It’s a miracle,” a priest tells her after nuns use an ultrasound machine, which happens to be in the convent, to confirm her condition. ‘You are pregnant.’
“Why did HE choose me out of all the women in the world?” asks a stunned Cecilia.
While some believe that she follows in the footsteps of the Virgin Mary, others worry that she may be carrying a wicked being in her womb.
Frightening and often torturous events begin to occur, testing the young nun’s faith and body.
The film premieres on March 22.
