I’d just moved into my new dream home – then my neighbour started sending me these creepy messages

A young man who moved into his newly purchased townhouse claims his neighbor is secretly ‘keeping track’ of his dating life.

The 28-year-old was “shocked” when the neighbor said she noticed he had been “going on a lot of dates with different people lately.”

The woman shared a screenshot of the text messages on Reddit and said she saw “a lot of women coming back” to his house.

“(We) were always super friendly to each other, but this felt really awkward and a bit passive-aggressive,” the man admitted in the Reddit thread.

Opinions were divided, with many believing the woman is ‘jealous’ and wants to go on a date with him.

The man assumes his neighbor is in her late twenties or early thirties and says the two have never had a bad relationship before.

The couple was supposed to attend a meeting, but the new homeowner canceled at the last minute because he was going on a date instead.

The woman replied, “Oh okay, don’t worry. You’ve been on a lot of dates with different people lately.”

Feeling confused, the man asked what she meant and was shocked by what else she claimed to have heard.

The woman continued, “I’ve been seeing a lot of women coming to your house lately, and recently I was walking with Milo and I heard you having sex because your bedroom window was open.”

The man replied, “Haha, I didn’t know you were monitoring my dating life, but I’ll definitely make sure my windows are closed when I have sex tonight! Have a nice day!’

The woman claimed she “wasn’t watching him” but “just happened to notice” and apologized.
