FKA Twigs looked exceptional in a quirky ensemble as she arrived at Chioma Nnadi’s launch party on Thursday to celebrate her first British Vogue edition as editorial director.

The 36-year-old singer-songwriter, real name Tahliah Debrett Barnett, stuns on the cover of the magazine’s April issue.

And FKA was part of Chioma’s star-studded party and turned around descended to Ladbroke Hall in Notting Hill.

The artist wore a corset mini dress with sky-high green platforms and upped the ante with a statement faux fur coat with statement long needles.

FKA joined Chioma at the event and posed for a slew of stunning snaps in the beautiful venue.

Chioma, who replaced former editor-in-chief Edward Enninful, impressed with his brightly colored trousers and heels, paired with a rose motif blouse.

The new editorial director, who was previously praised by Anna Wintour for her ‘impeccable’ reputation, will become the first black woman to edit the fashion magazine.

In the issue, FKA detailed the aftermath of her abusive relationship with Shia LaBeouf and discussed her new romance with photographer Jordan Hemingway.

The Cellophane singer shed light on her nearly year-long relationship with the actor in 2018, which sent shockwaves.

The star made headlines in 2020 when she filed a lawsuit against the Transformers star, 37, accusing the actor of sexual battery, assault and emotional distress. The trial is scheduled for October this year.

On the aftermath of her relationship with Shia: ‘I guess I naively thought it would be like any other breakup, that I would be sad for six months to a year, and then one day I would wake up and everything would happen . be good…

The actor labeled FKA a “saint” and recalled that she “saved my life,” prompting him to wake up and take responsibility for his actions.

The couple dated for just under a year in 2018, after meeting on the set of US drama Honey Boy, with Twigs later accusing him of ‘relentless abuse’ and ‘knowingly passing on a sexually transmitted disease’.

She called their relationship “the worst thing I’ve ever experienced in my life.”

He admitted in a 2022 interview: “I hurt that woman. And in doing so, I hurt many other people, and many other people before that woman.

“I was a pleasure-seeking, selfish, self-centered, dishonest, inconsiderate, fearful person… When I think about what my life has become, and what it is now, like what my purpose is now… must be useful.”

Among her allegations, FKA accuses Shia of violently assaulting and strangling her, knowingly infecting her with an STD, and physical and verbal abuse.

But Shia, who has been diagnosed with PTSD and alcoholism, insisted in 2022 that he is now in a better place and called himself a “public sinner.”
