The 65-second clip shows Wright and Carragher both standing in front of a huge projector watching Darwin Nunez’s movements during the second half of Liverpool’s clash with Manchester City on Sunday.
The Uruguayan forward was caught offside several times at Anfield, and the clip opens with Wright calling on Nunez to ‘make sure he’s onside now’ after again straying past the last defender.

The ball was still in Liverpool’s half with young defender Jarell Quansah, but Wright insisted Nunez should have already tried to start a run as he claimed ‘now I’m gone, I’m going to run over there’ as he gave Nunez instructed to turn his point and move behind City’s backline on the left.
Wright highlighted Quansah’s time on the ball as he called on Nunez to be more proactive with his movements, before Carragher intervened and asked for the footage to be taken back, ensuring the pair got their analysis of the situation exactly right.
As the clip continued to roll, Wright explained to Carragher how Nunez gave Quansah “nothing” by standing still, which Carragher agreed with as he stood with his arms folded listening to Wright’s analysis of Nunez’s shortcomings.
Quansah eventually played the ball to the right wing, but Nunez still did not attempt to run behind, despite Wright believing the situation was ‘made for him’ to do so.
Nunez eventually half-heartedly moved forward, but when the ball is clipped over the top, he is offside again and the pass is still passed over to the City goalkeeper.
Wright and Carragher then discuss Nunez’s body language at the time, suggesting that he ‘switched off’ when he did not receive the ball earlier.
