Lauren Phillips is left cringing as her co-hosts find her sex education high school homework and read out her hilarious list of pros and cons

Lauren Phillips was left cringing Wednesday when her radio hosts dug up her high school sex ed homework.

The presenter was left red-faced when Jase Hawkins and Clint Stanaway revealed live on Nova 100 that someone had found a paper she had handed in for her sex education class at school.

Embarrassing her even more, they then read out the list, which detailed the pros and cons of sex, live on air as Lauren threatened to walk out of the studio.

When she revealed that the list simply said “Sex!” Lauren winced as she said, “Don’t, I’m going to walk outside.”

Speaking on Jase & Lauren’s breakfast show, Clint went on to read out some of the benefits she mentioned, including fun, closeness and a special bond.

Lauren initially seemed happy with her answers as she said, “Oh look, that’s nice!”

But Clint was left in stitches as he continued, “What about this one? You don’t have to please yourself. And there is one more that stands out: fitness!’

The other benefits included falling in love, creating life, feeling fulfilled and stopping raging hormones, while there was also a long list of disadvantages.

Lauren was quick to note that she had put “safety first” when she included STDs on the list of cons, along with pain, unsafe sex and pregnancy.

However, Jase noticed that she had put money on the cons list and joked, “Why is there money on that?” Do you charge for it?’

Lauren then seemed unconvinced of the legitimacy of the list when she asked, “Is it my handwriting?”

But Jase insisted it was definitely her handwriting, as he confirmed: “It’s definitely your handwriting.”

Jase then joked, “If you follow this list, the list of cons will outweigh the pros!” Technically, that explains why you don’t do it anymore!’

A photo of the list was shared by the station along with the radio segment on Instagram, and listeners quickly responded to the comments to share their amused reactions.

They wrote: ‘Boasting definitely sent me;’ ‘I couldn’t stop laughing as I drove to work;’

“Omg, the handwriting brings back too many memories of high school;” ‘Best.’

Another fan noted that she had spelled illnesses as “dieses,” prompting Lauren to reply, “Private school education there (laughing face emoji).”

Lauren and Jase returned to Melbourne’s airwaves earlier this month when they launched their brand new breakfast show on Nova’s 100 FM.

It comes after their show was axed by KIIS FM last year to make way for Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s expansion into Melbourne.

Their Nova 100 FM show airs weekdays from 6am to 9am and replaces the morning program of Ben Harvey, Liam Stapleton and Belle Jackson.

In November, Sydney-based radio duo Kyle and Jackie ‘O’ signed a record-breaking 10-year deal worth $200 million, keeping them on air until 2034.

At the time, an ARN spokesperson confirmed to Ny Breaking Australia that the deal for the Sydney duo meant their work friends Jase and Lauren were unemployed.
