Glen “Big Baby” Davis has been forced to apologize after an old video of the former NBA star joking about “raping” a woman resurfaced on social media.

Davis, who recently shocked fans by claiming he was making porn films, can be heard saying in the clip: ‘Yo, I’m on a lift, some girl who just got out, she smelled so damn good. Oh my, I smell this b***h in the hallway.

“Damn girl in the elevator wearing that damn perfume… that almost made me rape you, girl.”

It is unclear when Davis recorded the video, which went viral this week after reappearing online.

And amid the backlash over his offensive sexual assault joke, the ex-Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic Center took to Instagram to apologize.

“First of all, I want to say I’m sorry to all the victims,” he said. ‘Anyone who had any feeling about what I said.

‘I’m a stand-up comedian, I do comedy and sometimes I say things a little wrong. And I did.

“So I hope you guys aren’t offended by it.”

Davis added that he deleted the video from his own social media account “a long time ago.”

“You all saved that and decided to use it today. That’s ridiculous,” he added.

‘It wasn’t my intention, I’m sorry if I offended anyone. Everyone go on with your daily lives, man, I’m trying to live my life, man. Please leave me alone.’

Davis won the NBA title with the Celtics in 2008, but last played professional basketball with NBL Canada team St John’s Edge in 2019.

It is thought that the 38-year-old, who led Louisiana State to the 2006 NCAA championship game, earned approximately $32 million during his career, which also saw him play for the Los Angeles Clippers.
