Dozens of teenagers were seen throwing punches outside a Las Vegas casino as part of a huge brawl believed to have been organized on social media.

The fight started at the intersection of West Lone Mountain Road and Rancho Drive the night of March 9.

Before the violence broke out, messages circulated online advertising a “Santa Fe Station Shutdown” event, calling on teens to meet at the Santa Fe Station Hotel and Casino.

The teens initially tried to enter the casino but were turned away by security.

It’s unclear what sparked the fight, but a series of videos posted to social media show teens chasing each other down a sidewalk while throwing punches.

The fight then spread to the street, with youths pushing and punching each other while others stood and filmed.

Local business owners told KSNV they had to lock their doors out of concern for the safety of their employees.

One clip showed a police cruiser sitting in a nearby gas station with its lights flashing.

“The police were already parked here in this parking lot… and there were a few here too, but they just flashed their lights without a siren, but they were just parked,” witness Corinne Enochs told KSNV.

No arrests have been reported in connection with the incident.

The brawl was reminiscent of a similar incident last December in downtown Summerlin, where hordes of teenagers gathered outside a shopping center before violence broke out.

They were called to the area by a flashy Instagram post advertising a “Downtown Summerlin Shutdown.”

The post urged potential attendees to “dress to impress” and “come trip because we trip harder.”

It instructed teens to meet at 4 p.m. and stay until they were kicked out.

A group of about 150 people organized in the mall before police ordered them to disperse. Some youths were seen fighting with officers.

At least five youths were cited for disorderly conduct and trespassing.
