Pregnant Hilary Duff, 36, proudly showcases her growing baby bump in a bathing suit and floral robe while posing for stylish selfie

Hilary Duff showed off her growing baby bump as she donned a one-piece swimsuit in a new selfie uploaded to her Instagram Stories on Friday.

The 36-year-old Lizzie McGuire alum — who recently helped organize a lavish Montessori tea party for 98 children — posed in what appeared to be a spacious bathroom.

She explained in a text at the top of the image: “Kids are home sick today so looks like I’m going to take off my swimsuit.”

The actress proudly showed off her burgeoning bump in a nude swimsuit that was layered with a dark green robe that had floral details embroidered onto the material.

Duff completed the look by adding a gold chain necklace, as well as black shades that offered a fashionable flair.

Her blonde locks were parted in the middle and flowed effortlessly down her shoulders.

The star could easily be spotted holding her smartphone in her hand as she took a quick photo in the reflection of a mirror.

While we were talking earlier Fashion In 2021, Hilary opened up about her sense of style when it comes to being pregnant.

“Maternity clothes are so hard,” she admitted to the outlet. ‘Towards the end (of pregnancy) you are quite funny. You tend to wear oversized clothes, which makes you look bigger than you are.’

Duff also recalled being on the set of the hit series Younger, saying, “I got to wear these amazing clothes.”

‘I was like, “I look great” – but we had a seamstress on set and someone to style me. I could never achieve that in my real, everyday life!’

The How I Met Your Father star shares daughters Banks, five, and Mae, two, with husband Matthew Koma – who she tied the knot with in 2019.

She is also mother to son Luca, 11, whom she welcomed with her first husband, Mike Comrie. The former couple was married from 2010 until their divorce was finalized in 2016.

Both her son Luca and daughter Mae will celebrate their birthdays later this month, on March 20 and March 24 respectively.

Late last year in December, Hilary hopped on social media to reveal she was pregnant with baby number four – and her third child with Koma.

She included a photo of a Christmas card showing the actress resting her hand on her stomach while surrounded by her family wearing comfortable pajamas.

Duff had a shocked expression on her face as the text on the card read: ‘So long for the silent nights, Love the Duff, Bair, Comrie crew.’

The back of the card featured adorable photos of her three children, while “Happy Holidays.” Buckle up Buttercups, we’re adding one more to this crazy bunch!’ was also written.

At the time, social media users and celebrities had taken to the comments section to share their excitement too, like Mandy Moore who typed: “I love this. What a cute card!! .’

Not long after announcing the baby news, Hilary and Matthew celebrated another milestone, marking their fourth wedding anniversary on December 21.

In June 2023, Hilary spoke with Form and got candid about raising three children and being a parent. “I had to get really good at being disappointed in myself,” she said.

“I think when you have a baby, you just think that you have all the answers and possibilities, and that we’re still only human.”

However, she said motherhood is “endlessly rewarding” and said: “I just love watching my children develop into their own individual, unique selves…”

“I love (parenting) with my husband. I love feeling like hugs and snuggles can make everything better. I like the pressure of saying, ‘How the heck are we going to get through this day?'”

“And getting through the day and saying, ‘I don’t know how everyone feels laid out and nourished and happy after all the things we had to do today.'”

As she prepared to welcome baby number four, Duff has been busy and recently helped organize an elaborate tea party for 98 children, including her two daughters.

She took to her main Instagram page to show off a series of photos that captured special moments from the festivities.

The actress wrote to her 26.9 million followers: ‘Mission: the annual Montessori tea party… for me and all the mothers who made this light for 98 little nuggets – we destroyed it and how tired are you? ?’

In one photo, Hilary flashed a cheerful smile as she posed with Banks and Mae, who were dressed to the nines in cute outfits and pearl necklaces.

She also gave her fans a glimpse of the table decorations and the tasty treats and hot tea that the little ones could enjoy.
