An Australian teen is candid about her relationship with a man 29 years her senior and the cruel comments the couple has received.
Jorja McMahon, who is only 19 years old, and 48-year-old Graham got together three months ago when she was “in a difficult living situation and in a bad headspace”.
Speak with news.com.auJorja said she got a lot of negative comments online and from friends, some of whom called Graham a “pedophile.”

The controversial couple met in front of their apartment complex while Jorja waited for a taxi to go to work at McDonald’s.
Graham offered to help Jorja to and from work if she deposited money into his account every week for fuel, which she “luckily would do” and the pair befriended.
“He didn’t try to get in my pants like every other man has tried, and he treated me with so much respect from the start. There was definitely chemistry,” she said.
After being friends for four months, Jorja confessed how she felt about Graham.
He was initially hesitant to continue the relationship because of their age difference and asked Jorja if she was sure she wanted to “go down that road with him”, but she was adamant that she was very much in love.

She said Graham treats her “like an absolute queen” and better than anyone else.
When the couple first officially started dating, they got a lot of hostility and nasty comments due to their age difference.
Some called Graham a “pedophile” and said Jorja was using him for money.
Jorja said the couple get “dirty looks” when they’re together in public and that Graham is old enough to be her father.
“I’ve even lost friends because of it. People can have an opinion, but sometimes they have to keep it to themselves,” she said.

“I’ve also had a lot of single friends who got jealous of the way he treats me, and I’ve tried to flirt with him.”
Graham supports his teenage girlfriend when she’s having a bad day, helps with doctor’s appointments and stood by her side when, according to Jorja, she needed emergency surgery just a month into their relationship.
She said Graham is “so supportive and encouraging” and “constantly reminding her” how “beautiful” she is.
Jorja is convinced that Graham is her “soulmate” and plans to eventually marry him and have children.
The teen said she always wanted to be a mother and have children with someone who treats her well.
