Who presents Countryfile with Matt Baker?

Hosting the celebratory episode for the RNLI’s astonishing 200th anniversary is the show’s main presenter, Matt Baker.

The former presenter of Blauwe Peter has been presenting the popular agricultural show since 2009.

However, Matt won’t be celebrating the RNLI’s 200th anniversary alone as he will be joined by Britain’s best athletes, farmers and more.

On Sunday evening, audiences can expect to see celebrity farmer Adam Henson, world champion wheelchair racer Samantha Kinghorn and presenter Joe Crowley on air.

Where is Countryfile going this week?

To celebrate 200 years of saving lives along the British coastline, this week’s presenters head to Somerset and the Cotswolds.

TV presenter and athlete Samantha Kinghorn heads with Matt to the heart of the West of England to meet volunteers at the RNLI station in Minehead.

While balancing their own busy schedules, these volunteers sacrifice their own free time to help save the lives of others on unpredictable and uncertain calls.

During their visit, fifth generation lifeboat volunteer Andrew Escott will talk about the Somerset station’s colorful past.

While talking to Matt, Andrew wants to share how his great-great-great uncle led a heroic but dangerous rescue in 1941.

The tough Countryfile host will also be put to the test by other RNLI volunteers on station in a timed training exercise for tractor and boat maneuvers.

Joe Crowley will change the pace and delve into Internal Drainage Boards and how the agency protects around two million hectares of low-lying land in Britain.

Critical public services face challenges beyond unpredictable storms: the dreaded rising energy bills.
