Kylie Minogue joined Madonna on stage for a surprise duet during the Material Girls’ Celebration tour at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles on Thursday to celebrate International Women’s Day.
The Australian singer, 55, donned a tight T-shirt with her fellow icon’s name in sequins as they performed a series of songs.
Madonna, 65, revealed her ‘very special guest’ and then hugged the Padam Padam hitmaker to cheers from the crowd.
Madonna said: ‘This is what we call survival. It’s a privilege for me to be here singing with you. God bless you, never give up.”
Madonna opted for cowgirl chic and was decked out in a leather jacket and fringed hat that she wore over lingerie.

Kylie looked sensational in her stage ensemble, which also included skintight snakeskin trousers.
The ageless duo beamed and wrapped their arms around each other as they sang while Madonna played guitar.
Kylie later shared a clip of herself in the audience on X (Twitter) and wrote: ‘Madonna It’s been a long time coming!!! I loved being with you!!!! Celebration Tour and it is now International Women’s Day…. Thank you and love, love, love.”
The surprise duets come after Kylie recently said she would jump at the chance to work with Madonna.
The I Should Be So Lucky hitmaker says she’s open to the idea and joked that they should give plenty of “warning” about the two icons being in the same building together.
Speaking to New York radio station 1035KTU, Kylie said of collaborating with Madonna: ‘I would. Of course I would! She’s going on tour. I don’t have Madonna’s number, but if I was in town and she was in town it would be great. The building would probably collapse. We must send our warnings!’
Last year, Kylie wished Madonna well after she was rushed to the ICU due to a ‘bacterial infection’, which resulted in the delay of her tour.
The singer was taken to intensive care and had to be intubated, later revealing that she was put into a medically induced coma as she fought for her life despite lung and kidney failure.

The pair performed Kylie’s Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and Gloria Gaynor’s I Will Survive
She continued her condolences, saying, “I feel sorry for anyone who tours, but especially women who tour. I think it’s just a little bit more work for us and it’s so taxing on you as a whole.”
It comes after Madonna faced her mortality head-on during a reflective moment at her first Celebration Tour show in Los Angeles.
The music icon paused her performance to reflect on her shocking health scare and ‘near-death’ experience, Madonna remained defiant
‘This show every night is not that physically demanding for me. It’s emotionally difficult for me because I’m really telling you the story of my life,” she told the audience, according to Just shocked. ‘My heart is on my sleeve. I’ve fallen off many horses and broken many bones… but nothing can stop me.’
Madonna then revealed the first word she allegedly said after waking from her four-day coma: ‘No!’.

“I’m pretty sure it was God who said to me, ‘Do you want to come?’ Do you want to come with me?” To which she replied, ‘No!’
The Into The Groove singer revealed that one of the doctors who had cared for her through her health struggles was in the audience that night, and she recalled how he coached her through her difficult recovery period after she was discharged from hospital.
‘I called every other day and asked (my doctor) why I had no energy, when would my energy come back? When would I feel like myself again? When can I go on tour again?’ she remembered.
“All he said was, ‘Go out in the sun’… It was so hard for me to walk from my house to the backyard and sit in the sun. I know that sounds crazy, but it was hard,” she admitted. “It’s strange to finally not feel like I was in control, and that was my lesson… to let go.”
