Sharon Osbourne has lashed out at Gary Goldsmith on Wednesday’s Celebrity Big Brother as she questions his true intentions for being in the house.

The millionaire businessman, 58, was one of three housemates in the ‘danger zone’ and was at risk of being singled out by Sharon, 71, as one of the stars set for elimination.

Gary, David Potts and Zeze Millz were all given the chance to explain why they had to stay in the house as they begged her to keep them inside.

Kate Middleton’s uncle admitted he wants the chance to change the public’s perception of him after always being known as the ‘black sheep’ of the family.

Sharon said, “So we’re going to have a nice chat, Gary. Tell me, why did you accept the offer to enter the house?’

Gary said: ‘It does bother me what the public perception of me is. The black sheep of the family. I’m a normal guy. Coincidentally, my niece married Will.”

The businessman then insisted that he has no interest in being a celebrity himself.

He said, “If I could just show people that I’m not that person. I really put myself out there because this is not my world. At the end of the day, I’m not a celebrity. I don’t want to be a celebrity, I don’t want to walk that path.

But Sharon was immediately skeptical of this claim, replying, “Why don’t I believe you when you say that?”

Sharon then spoke to David and told him, ‘When I first met you and I saw you with no pants on, I was quite shocked.

“And when we started talking, I realized it’s your thing. Not that I’m a prude, because I’m not. How did you feel when you found out you were in the ring of fire?’

David confessed that he was ‘not shocked’ to be in the bottom three and claimed that this is something that has happened a lot in his life.

He said: ‘I wasn’t shocked at all because I’ve had this happen quite often in my life. At first impressions, people are kind of like, ‘woo, he’s just craving attention,’ when that’s just not the case.”
