Sunrise star Edwina Bartholomew shocks fans with toe-curling secret talent: ‘Eeewww!’

Edwina Bartholomew has shocked her fans by revealing her secret talent during a Q&A session on the Sunrise set.

In footage shared to Instagram, the 40-year-old is seen all smiles as she wanders the backstage corridors of Channel Seven answering boring questions.

But the interview quickly gets interesting when the beloved presenter is asked if she has any secrets she wants to reveal.

‘Yes, actually. I have double broken toes, would you like to see that?’ Edwina responds.

She then kicks off her heels and demonstrates by standing straight on her feet, with her toes fully bent back.

“Maybe I shouldn’t have told anyone that,” she joked.

Having double-jointed toes means that the joints have a greater range of motion, which allows for greater flexibility – potentially allowing someone to bend their toes in ways that others may find challenging.

It didn’t take long before Edwina’s post was quickly flooded with comments.

“Those double-jointed toes are not for the squeamish,” one fan joked

“Eeewww, that last bit hurt me,” another added.

“OMG they look like fists,” a third person commented.

“Those toes… Wow!” wrote another.

Earlier this month, Edwina admitted that she and her husband Neil Varcoe underwent an ‘extreme sleep separation’.

The pair have been living in separate houses since last year, but the Sunrise star insists it works for them, and before splitting their homes, the pair had not shared a bedroom for a decade.

“We’ve been sleeping in separate rooms for ten years, long before we got married and long before we had children,” she said. Stellar.

Edwina added that she initially “hated the idea” of separate bedrooms, but soon realized it worked best for both of them.

Last year she entered into a long-distance relationship with her husband when he left home to become a farmer.

The couple, who sold their Dulwich Hill home for an estimated $2 million in March last year, share two children: daughter Molly, three, and son Tom, one.
