President Biden’s campaign is mocking former President Trump’s victory speech in Florida after the ex-president won 12 states on Super Tuesday.
Mitch Landrieu, co-chair of Biden’s campaign, appeared on CNN and denounced the former president’s comments.
“First of all, I thought he had very little energy tonight,” Landrieu said of the ex-president.
He also blasted Trump for lying from the stage, saying most “if not all” of what he said in his Super Tuesday speech was “factually incorrect and demonstrably false.”
He went on to say that Trump’s comments were not accurate in indicating that “if his lips are moving, he is lying or delusional.”
Landrieu continued, “17 of his Cabinet members have resigned… And begged America not to put this man within 100 yards of the presidency.”
He said the entire speech was “built on a house of lies.”
Landrieu said Biden will continue to talk about that as the campaign progresses.
He was just one of several Biden campaign surrogates who appeared on television throughout the evening to take on Trump.
