Jeremy Sochan and Amen Thompson had to be separated Tuesday night when the pair tangled during the Spurs-Rockets game.
The skirmish started when the pair battled for a rebound after a Spurs miss, with Sochan falling hard.
As Thompson ran back to the other side of the court, he tripped over Sochan’s leg while the Spurs forward was still on the ground, and fell himself.
The Houston newcomer apparently believed the trip was intentional and then bumped Sochan before the two briefly pinned each other at midcourt.
No punches were thrown and neither player was ejected from the game.

The pair collided in mid-half before being separated and the skirmish died down
However, the officials ruled Sochan a flagrant foul and determined that his trip of Thompson was intentional.
Both players also received technical fouls.
The Rockets ultimately won the game 114-101.
Alperen Sengun had a career-high 45 points and a season-best 16 rebounds, while rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama was held to just 10 points.
Sochan and Thompson didn’t throw a single punch as players and officials intervened
Sengun, who is in his third NBA season, also set a career record with five steals and had three assists and a block.
Jalen Green added 23 points and 10 assists for the Rockets, and Fred VanVleet had 21 points.
Devin Vassell also scored 22 points for San Antonio.
Sochan had 15 points and eight rebounds, while Thompson had two points and six rebounds.
