Jamie Foxx was at the top of his game on Sunday in Los Angeles as he was honored with the Producers Award by the African American Film Critics Association.
Foxx, 56, was honored for his company Foxxhole Productions at a luncheon at the Los Angeles Athletic Club.
The Terrell, Texas-born entertainer was dressed in an all-black ensemble of a Dolce & Gabbana sport coat over a T-shirt with slacks and black shoes at the Southern California event.
The Oscar-winning actor wore glasses and a goatee to the event.
The resurgent star, who is father to daughters Corinne Foxx, 30, and Annalize Bishop, 15, from previous relationships, was honored nearly a year after he was hospitalized, sparking a months-long battle to regain health.

Foxx was pictured at the event alongside actress Jurnee Smollett, 37, actor Courtney B. Vance, 63, and actress Nia Long, 53, among others.
Corinne said in an April 12, 2023 statement on Instagram that the A-lister was taken to a hospital after a “medical complication.”
Corinne said the following month that her father was on the road to recovery.
“My father has been recovering from the hospital for weeks,” she said. “He even played pickleball yesterday!” Thank you for everyone’s prayers and support!’
The versatile entertainer was working on the Netflix film Back in Action in Georgia last year when he encountered health complications.
After Foxx stopped working on the film, which also stars Cameron Diaz, following his health battle last spring, he was seen back on set earlier this year.

Last week he said in an Instagram post: “I’m going to be on stage somewhere near you. I have some jokes and a story to tell.”

Among the other winners on Sunday was Foxx’s production partner Datari Turner, 44, who has worked on projects including They Cloned Tyrone, Story Ave and The Burial with the A-list star.
The Martin Scorsese film Killers of the Flower Moon was honored with the Stanley & Karen Kramer Social Justice Award after “shedding light on the true story of the infamous Osage Nation murders,” the AAFCA said in a statement. The Hollywood Reporter.
Fatima Robinson, a choreographer, received the organization’s Salute to Excellence Award.
Robinson worked on a slew of high-profile projects last year, including The Color Purple, the Oscars, the Grammys and Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé.
Filmmaker Deon Taylor, who founded Hidden Empire Film Group, received the Horizon Award, recognizing him as a “talent on the rise,” according to the AAFCA.
Also honored with the organization’s first-ever Freedom Award was the late marketing professional and activist Michael Latt, who was fatally shot last fall at the age of 36.
