An ESPN reporter abruptly left an interview with a Chicago radio station Friday after appearing to experience technical difficulties.
Courtney Cronin, who covers the Bears for the network, was invited onto ESPN Chicago’s “Kap & J. Hood Morning Show” to discuss Caleb Williams, who Chicago may decide to take with the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL Draft next month.
But when Cronin started talking about Williams’ press conference at the NFL Combine, her voice rang loudly.
That prompted her to grab her wired headphones and say, “Okay, f*** this” in frustration, and she was immediately removed from the channel.
As noted by Terrible announcementit is unclear whether Cronin ended the video feed herself or if ESPN Chicago took her off the air after her expletive.

Caleb Williams is considered the presumptive No. 1 pick and could land with the Bears
Cronin first covered the Vikings for ESPN before moving to the Bears.
She joined the network in 2017.
Williams is the presumptive No. 1 pick, but it remains to be seen whether the Bears will trade up and stick with Justin Fields or move on with the USC pass rusher.
Williams has decided to decline the medical examinations given to the combine participants, and has also refused to share his health data with all 32 competition teams.
He is believed to be the first person in history to fail the physical exam at the league’s association.
Williams had also previously declined to participate in on-field practices related to the combine ahead of his Pro Day at USC to show off his skills.
USC’s Pro Day is scheduled for March 20.
