Just days after wowing at the red carpet premiere of Mary & George in London in a navy blue velvet couture gown by Schiaparelli, the May-December actress does it again in the new high-fashion spread.

She channeled several decades of Hollywood and fashion in the shoot, which was unveiled Thursday.

In the first image, Julianne holds her head and stares seductively into the camera wwhile wearing a leather Alaia dress.

In the next photo, the Still Alice star has secured her signature red hair with a series of hairpins and is still wearing the leather Alaia dress.

In the fourth photo, she exudes 1940s glamor and drama in a Courréges LBD, tights from the venerated Wolford brand, and white satin Mary Janes from Manolo Blahnik.

In the next photo, the Academy Award winner is dressed in an oversized velvet blazer and pants with a cami under the jacket, all from Bottega Veneta.

In another photo, taken by photographer Craig McDean and styled by Katie Shillingford, Julianne sits on a couch and looks dejectedly into her hand while wearing a velvet blazer with a large, pointed white collar and a men’s tie for a belt from Maison Margiela .

In a Valentino Couture photo of Julianne in a long red dress with a slit in one leg, she stands against a blood-red background reminiscent of images from the 1996 Stephen King horror film Carrie, starring Sissy Spacek in the title role.

In a more playful photo, the star wears a Bottega Veneta blazer and a large Schiaparelli ring with an eye on it, which she playfully placed over her own eye.

In another photo, Julianne wears a wool gabardine jacket and dress by Alaia that could have stepped straight out of a detective agency into a film noir movie.

And finally, one photo is almost a profile of the beauty with shadows falling across her face.

Her hair is done in a Veronica Lake style and when she looks over her shoulder, it’s not clear if she was the hunted or the hunter.

Moore’s new series Mary & George is inspired by the true story of Mary Villiers, who trains her charismatic son George to seduce the king and gain enormous power.

From humble beginnings, the pair rise to acquire wealth, titles and enormous influence at the English court through scheming and dangerous gameplay.

The stakes are high as England’s place on the world stage is threatened by a Spanish invasion and rioters take to the streets to denounce the new king.

Willing to stop at nothing and armed with ruthless political steel, Mary marries her way up the ranks, bribes politicians, colludes with criminals and claws her way into the hearts of the establishment.
