Neighbours of Beau Lamarre-Condon tell of their shock as police swarm his $3million childhood home – as it’s revealed his mum was ‘on a cruise with her second husband’ when the alleged murders took place
As police swarmed the palatial mansion where Beau Lamarre-Condon grew up, neighbors had no idea which man they remembered as a boy. an accused murderer.
Police descended on North West Arm Road near Grays Point, in Sydney’s south, on Tuesday as they searched for the bodies of former Channel 10 star Jesse Baird and his flight attendant friend Luke Davies.
Lamarre-Condon, 28, is accused of using his NSW Police Glock pistol to kill Mr Baird and Mr Davies at the TV presenter’s home in Paddington just before 10am on Monday, February 19 .
When Daily Mail Australia visited the street where Lamarre-Condon grew up in a house now worth $3 million, residents were stunned to learn the identity of the accused double murderer, as police requested access to their backyards.
Interest in the area along Dents Creek, behind the house where Lamarre-Condon lived from age 5 through his teens, increased amid allegations that he transported the bodies of the two men in a white van after purchasing weights.
Neighbors recalled how Coleen Lamarre, who no longer owns the house, had been a “kind and friendly” neighbor and were shocked when Daily Mail Australia revealed it was her son accused of the murders that shocked Australia.
“Oh, you mean Coleen’s son is the (suspect)?” said a man.
While the incident unfolded last week, it is believed Coleen, who is retired, was on a cruise with her second husband..
Daily Mail Australia was told Ms Lamarre had sold her multi-million dollar home in Grays Point to downsize for retirement and spend more money enjoying life.
It is believed that Coleen and her husband were on a cruise just before or at the time of the alleged murders and Beau may have been staying at the Balmain house.
The search for the bodies of Mr Baird, 26, and Mr Davies, 29, ended on Tuesday afternoon when police found their remains in surfboard bags at Bungonia, near Goulburn, in the NSW Southern Tablelands.

Coleen Lamarre, whose neighbor said he was of Indian descent, owned the Grays Point home from 2001 until she sold it in 2021.
She had first rented it out after moving to her current home in Balmain in 2017.
On Wednesday, neighbors described how Coleen had lived in the Grays Point house with Mr Lamarre-Condon and his sister Jamila, occasionally staying with Coleen’s Indian father.
They said Coleen, who bought the house for $358,000 in 2001 before selling it for $2.27 million in 2021, did not appear to have lived there with Mr Lamarre-Condon’s father, Raymond Condon.
Coleen had at least one other partner before meeting her second husband, a sailor, and the couple married Mr Lamarre-Condon and his sister in attendance.

Daily Mail Australia understands Coleen has sold the house and moved to a smaller property in Balmain, in Sydney’s west, to enjoy retirement, travel and dining out without the responsibilities of a larger home and garden.
The five-bedroom, three-bathroom mansion where Mr. Lamarre-Condon grew up is one of several in quiet Grays Point that has water frontage along Dents Creek before flowing into the North West Arm, the giant inlet that feeds into Port Hacking.
Lamarre-Condon is said to have returned to the area where he grew up during the night of last Thursday, three days after allegedly killing Mr Baird and Mr Davies.

The five-bedroom house borders Dents Creek, which flows into North West Arm and Port Hacking, in a tranquil location in Sydney’s south
He is said to have rented a white Hi-Ace van from Mascot near Sydney Airport on the evening after the alleged murders, which he later drove to a property in Bungonia and to Lambton near Newcastle.
Last Wednesday, a gardener at the Cronulla Club found bloodied clothing, a phone and credit cards belonging to Mr Davies in a bin, prompting police to go to Mr Baird’s home in Brown Street, Paddington.
Officers found overturned furniture and a quantity of blood, and initially thought Mr Baird was still alive because his phone had been active.
Officers searched the small Balmain home where Lamarre-Condon’s mother and stepfather Brett Smith live and where he occasionally stayed.
Coleen and Mr Smith were said to have been on a cruise when the incident unfolded last week.
On Thursday evening last week, Lamarre-Condon allegedly drove the white van to a relative’s home, a short drive from the mansion where he grew up.
After driving to the Grays Point residence, his uncle reportedly accompanied Beau to a police station Friday morning.
Police arrested Beau Lamarre-Condon and charged him with two counts of murder and at Waverley Local Court he was remanded in custody until April.
